Almond Marzipan Kringle? or similar

If you know Andersen's in Santa Barbara, I'm looking for something like their almond kringle for Christmas morning. I didn't realize they shipped until today, and now it's too late to order for Christmas. Any local recs for a really authentic, handmade almond marzipan danish that I can get by Tuesday?

The french bakery on Pico, east of Fairfax does really good almond croissants. I forgot the name of the place.

Actually, mrhooks, that's how I found out they ship--I was going online to see when they close for Christmas with the intention of driving up there for it, but they're closed for the holidays already. =.(

get on the phone and beg, tell them your 98 year old mother is on her death bed and this might be her last christmas and you need it fedex for monday delivery
