Almond Marzipan Kringle? or similar

  • 4

If you know Andersen's in Santa Barbara, I'm looking for something like their almond kringle for Christmas morning. I didn't realize they shipped until today, and now it's too late to order for Christmas. Any local recs for a really authentic, handmade almond marzipan danish that I can get by Tuesday?

If it were me, I would just make the drive up to Andersen's. But I'm a Santa Barbarian at heart.

Actually, mrhooks, that's how I found out they ship--I was going online to see when they close for Christmas with the intention of driving up there for it, but they're closed for the holidays already. =.(

      2. The french bakery on Pico, east of Fairfax does really good almond croissants. I forgot the name of the place.
