I'm contemplating a gift certificate-- how's La Morra these days? I only remember the posts from around their opening days. Any other suggestions in the same vein/price point?

I ate there last winter on business and everybody enjoyed the place. Good food!

i almost always love everything i eat here. occasional mishaps in service and when a kitchen is adventurous i don't expect to love everything. that said, its one of the consistently good, interesting and good value places on my list.

Ate there a few weeks ago and it was as good as ever.

We had a wonderful evening there with friends recently and I always leave there saying, "We have to come here more often!"
