Lunch on Christmas Day

vtmark Dec 20, 2007 07:44 AM

Hello again - I need some help.

We are arriving on Christmas Day in Montreal and looking for a good lunch spot. I have been checking around all of the usual suspects (Lemeac, etc) and can't find any that are going to be open on the 25th -

Any suggestions??

Halal 786 is open as far as I know. I would call ahead just to make sure, but they were open last christmas.

I have enjoyed Christmas brunch at the Ritz for many years. Fabulous selections and lovely festive atmosphere. Traditional old school food perfect for holiday. Book in advance. Good luck

You're pretty much out of luck; except maybe for some Chinese restaurants.

Most of Chinatown is usually open, if I'm not mistaken?
