Romantic, Late (11pm), Small Dishes, Good Drinks?

I am taking a very special lady to see a Broadway show this evening. I imagine it will let out around 10, 1030ish. I don't particularly want to stay in that area, in fact would rather go downtown, East Village, West Villy, etc.

Since it will be late, I don't think an app, entree, bottle of wine is in order. I am thinking more small plates and good cocktails or wine by the glass. I already took her to Tia Pol, which is actually a perfect description of the kind of place I am going for. Although, since we've already done the tapas thing, maybe something different.

Alta is ideal. Momofuku Ssam Bar, Angel's Share, Death & Co., SavorNY are all great alternatives.

3rd Ssam. But, if you want to stay in the theater neighborhood, what about .casellula.com? I had a great meal there recently and I'd say it's on par vibe-wise with Ssam and Tia Pol. Thoughtful wine list, too.
