report: Azie: Fusion in SOMA

ssfire Dec 19, 2007 09:56 PM

I checked out Azie. I tried the drunken spareribs appetizer (see photo #1). They were good; juicy, with a nice fusion BBQ sauce.

The Aromatic crispy chicken was also good (see photo #2); it had a pungent glaze, and was satisfyingly crispy.

The chicken looks good. Are the prices still on the higher end?

The spare ribs appetizer was a reasonable value; I think it was $10, and it was almost a meal (I took home half in a doggie bag). In contrast, the chicken I had was the cheapest entre on the menu at $19, which was overpriced.

thanks, that does sound a bit high for the entrees. May be a better bet to do a variety of appetizers.
