Toronto restaurant gift certificates

Any Toronto favourites you know of that gladly do gift certificates? There are a couple of last minute presents I need that would suit this kind of thing. They could be pizza places, bistros, neighbourhood places...not anything at the high end of the scale, but excellent flavour, comfortable eateries.

I just got my brother and his gf gift certificates for JK. and they are good for all the JK restaurants (JK, JKWB and JKATG).

to my knowledge, most nice to hig-end places will do this - my parents have received certs from Tutti Matti, Canoe, North 44, etc.

I believe most restaurants will facilitate this. Just call the one you hope to buy from and see what they are able to do.

Agreed. Lai Toh Heen will do gift certificates too.

I always use the eGift Certificates that Menupalace sells online. They are instantly emailed to the recipient, and there are about 50 restaurants to choose from. So the person who gets the gift can chose which ever restaurant they want to use it at.

High-end, low-end, this was a perfect Christmas gift for our son, taking his food preferences into consideration - a $50 gift certificate from Pizza Pizza.
