Carniceria Lopez, Sacramento

I've come back to Sacramento for the holiday and to my disappointment my favorite taqueria, Los Hermanos Lopez on Sunrise and Madison, has closed. I've seen several mentions of Carniceria Familia Lopez here, and my question is, are these run by the same people?

Turns out that Carniceria Lopez is the same, had delicious food at their Franklin location. Best Mexican in Sacramento.

Can't speak as to whether it's the same Lopezes, the carniceria is opening up new locations pretty regularly. Is the one on Sunrise in the old Los Hermanos location?

If you want a taqueria instead of a taco counter at a grocery store, there's La Fiesta on Greenback at Sunrise. It's run by the same people as Taqueria La Favorita on Franklin Blvd. and is very tasty.
