Has anyone eaten at Delius in Long Beach?

I have read at a restaurant review site that Delius does great Italian and they are booked solid tonight, but I am wondering what kind of an experience/prices to expect when/if I go. Please help if you can, chowhounds. Thanks in advance.
I haven't eaten at Delius in years. But when I last ate there it wasn't an Italian restaurant. The deal at Delius, at least then, was one seating nightly (at around 7:30 p.m.) for a multi-course dinner with optional wines to match the various courses. When I ate there, I found the food mediocre at best, and the wines even worse, often poorly matched with the food. It's the type of place that you might call "budget faux-gourmet," since the price fixe menu was under $40 for something like 7 courses, and around $15 for the wine. After my one experience there, I had no desire to return to see if it was an "off night." There were just too many bad things about the food and wine to chalk it up as an accident.
But the place apparently continues to be popular with enough people to keep it packed. If you go, let us know about your experience.
