Pareve Peanut Butter Chips Anyone?

ariellasdaddy Dec 18, 2007 06:16 PM

My wife made a recipe from the new Enlightened cookbook of peanut butter cookies. It requires peanut butter chips. In Pathmark, however, all they had were Reese's peanut butter chips, and they are dairy.

She went to a few stores in Midwood, but could not find pareve ones.

Does anyone know if there are pareve peanut butter chips available? (perhaps even the "all natural" ones that are made from just roasted peanuts?)

Baker's choice is a company in Spring Vally, NY that makes them and distributes them widely to kosher supermarkets in the New York area. In addition, The Peppermill on 16th Avenue in Boro Park will ship them to you. You can call them or visit their website www.thepeppermillinc.com.

Actually met a guy who is friend's with the owner of Baker's Choice. He's calling him to find out where else they distribute. At least now the guy will know there's a demand.

For the record, Peppermill does NOT carry pareve peanut butter chips.

just add your own peanut butter, vanilla, and sugar.
that's all those chips really contribute to any recipe.
