Funky Group Dinner

Where can I go in NW DC for a group of 8 people that will have a casual yet funky ambience, where we can have cocktails and mingle about and order a bunch of delicious appetizers without getting to be too expensive? I am thinking Cajun, Malaysian, Southern or Bistro.

I already know of Bus Boys, Cafe Ex, Bistro Coin, Bistro D'Oc.

    I would highly recommend the lounge at PS7. Also Hudson in Dupont Circle/West End would be a good choice since their appetizer menu has a bunch of different types of cuisines. And of course there is Jaleo

      Tabaq Bistro for a great view and Mediteranean tapas.
