Baked goods for Christmas day brunch

I'm flying down to spend Christmas with my family in Miami, but I wanted to take some truly delicious breads, pastries, baked goods for the Christmas day brunch -- any suggestions on which bakeries to go to or what to purchase? I'd be buying the baked goods Sunday morning (the 23rd), flying down that evening, but they wouldn't be eaten till the morning of the 25th so I don't know if freshness would be a problem. I'd appreciate your suggestions. I'd love to treat them to something special.

P.S. Brooklyn suggestions are okay as well.

  1. Baked goods get stale after two days. Except for fruitcake and you probably wouldn't want that for brunch.
