DC Restos by Street, Neighborhood, metro stop, cuisine, open/closed, etc. -- very cool searchable site
searching for a particular resto on wisconsin ave., i came upon this neat site from d.c. that enables you to "walk up the street" so to speak, naming restos, giving phone #s, links, etc. you can also search alphabetically, by cuisine, by what's open or closed today, or what is close to a particular metro stop. site also offers other helpful info for locals and tourists!
this particular link is for wisconsin avenue, to serve as an example, but you can search for any!

Similarly, I just found this site: Urbanspoon -- http://www.urbanspoon.com/c/7/Washing.... It seems fairly up-to-date and there are reviews and such, but I haven't delved too deeply just yet.

I applaud the attempt, and the "walk up the street" approach could be handy, but someone needs to update the list of restaurants presented on the site. It shows AV as still open, for example, and ignores places on U and 9th Sts (e.g., Etete, Oohs and Ahhs) that have been there awhile.
