New Years Eve - Santa fe

Looking for something fun and festive -- (we're thinking Santa Cafe or Coyote Cafe).

My place in Santa Fe for New Year's is the Compound. Not too many party poppers and balloons, but the food is extraordinary.

Either would be good. Coyote now has Geronimo's previous chef so the food should be superb. No reports yet on how good it is....he just took over since Thanksgiving. Other options might be the Compound....or The Old House at Eldorado Hotel (new chef there who was chef at LeCirque in the Bellagio in Las Vegas). Fuego at La Posada could be good too, though a bit quieter probably....nice fireplace tho.

Geronimo's is probably the one restaurant with the most hype and absolutely no delvery.
