Toronto restaurants that serve Tripe

Anyone know of an Italian or any restaurant that serves tripe, either in the Beaches or downtown.

I don't know any, but if someone knows a restaurant that serves Lyonnais cuisine, they would likely serve some kind of tripe dish too.

    BTW is there any?

The menudo at El Sol on the Danforth is tripe-rich/tripey, and delicious.

batifole has served a tripe appetizer as a special before...

rebozos also serves pancita (tripe soup) pretty regularly.

Torito, a tapas restaurant in Kensington Market, serves a Chilean tripe stew with chickpeas. I tried this as part of the Chowhound dinner last month. Two pictures of the tripe stew from that meal here:

Some Polish restaurants on Roncesvalles serve a tripe soup called flazcki. You could call Chopin, Cafe Polonez or Staropolska to see if they've been serving it lately. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the delis on Roncesvalles sell refrigerated jars, as well. http://www.tasteto.com/2007/10/03/

Zorba's on Danforth serves a Greek tripe soup called patsa.

It's on Cafe Polonez's menu. Looked like a few orders were being had at lunch today. I keep meaning to order it but I know I won't have room with my Potato Pancake (which I can't resist ordering now since the CH dinner!).

My boyfriend and I are ready to move to Roncesvalles so we can have Chopin's tripe soup every day. Sooooo yummy... we stumbled into this place on a whim a couple of months ago. Last time I ordered the tripe soup and cherry strudel... And I'd do it again in a heartbeat : )

If you want to include Chinese restaurants, any that serve dim sum will serve tripe.

lol, also don't forget Vietnamese pho places... soft, chewy and full of taste hehe.

and a select few Caribbean restaurants serve Tripe + beans over a bed of rice and peas.

                    good stuff if done right.
