Toronto restaurants that serve Tripe

Anyone know of an Italian or any restaurant that serves tripe, either in the Beaches or downtown.

  1. If you want to include Chinese restaurants, any that serve dim sum will serve tripe.

lol, also don't forget Vietnamese pho places... soft, chewy and full of taste hehe.

and a select few Caribbean restaurants serve Tripe + beans over a bed of rice and peas.

      good stuff if done right.

    2. Some Polish restaurants on Roncesvalles serve a tripe soup called flazcki. You could call Chopin, Cafe Polonez or Staropolska to see if they've been serving it lately. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the delis on Roncesvalles sell refrigerated jars, as well.

Zorba's on Danforth serves a Greek tripe soup called patsa.

It's on Cafe Polonez's menu. Looked like a few orders were being had at lunch today. I keep meaning to order it but I know I won't have room with my Potato Pancake (which I can't resist ordering now since the CH dinner!).

My boyfriend and I are ready to move to Roncesvalles so we can have Chopin's tripe soup every day. Sooooo yummy... we stumbled into this place on a whim a couple of months ago. Last time I ordered the tripe soup and cherry strudel... And I'd do it again in a heartbeat : )

        2. Torito, a tapas restaurant in Kensington Market, serves a Chilean tripe stew with chickpeas. I tried this as part of the Chowhound dinner last month. Two pictures of the tripe stew from that meal here:

rebozos also serves pancita (tripe soup) pretty regularly.
