I will be visiting Stowe during Christmas time. Can anyone recommend some good restaurants for Brunch and Dinner especially Christmas eve and a special Christmas brunch for a couple.

Thanks!!!!!

Any meal at the Whip in the Greenmountain Inn is wonderful. The atmosphere and food are each great.
Norma's at Topnotch is also a wonderland and delicious
Since you will need more than just dinner.. Jaimes on Main is a great breakfast place .. and better than making your own.
and if you are skiing the BEst apres ski is at the Matterhorn.. just off the mountain.. you can't beat it for sushi and a beer.
If you would like a place to stay for next year .. check out VRBO #99502

Check out the Ye Olde English Inn for brunch - I thought it was pretty good last year when i was in the area for the holidays. I had some duck confit hash that stuck with me all day ;-) Here is a breakfast menu, but I think they do brunch on the weekends - don't know about Christmas day though.

For a casual dinner and great beer don't miss the Alchemist in Waterbury. Have an El Jefe for me.

I'm not sure if Hen of the Wood in Waterbury is open Christmas eve or Christmas day but that's a really special place too. You can't beat the beautiful ambiance they have created in their dining room. I haven't seen the river since this past fall but I bet it's gorgeous covered in ice. Oh yeah.... the food is very well prepared too. A very special place!

You might want to look into the Stowehof. I'm not certain if they still serve dinner/brunch on those days like they once did, but one thing is for certain, there isn't a more magical setting than that place.
