Gee, I hope not. I feel bad since I haven't been in there in ages, but I got to know Mike-san a little and a couple of years ago he expressed hopes of moving/expanding. Since he and his family lived nearby, he hoped to find a place in east Phoenix. Eve so, many times I was there and is was awfully quiet in there ... then there was the time his wife was sick and ths dishwasher didn't show up and with the wife at home so was the little daughter so ... Mike worked the place alone that night -- cutting, cooking, serving, taking money, busing, etc. I hope they make it.

Yeah every time I was there, it was pretty quiet, although there always seemed to be a couple families that would wander in as we were eating. The 7-10 piece sushi dinners were really a great deal and everything was good. My gf especially liked their calamari, and I agree, it was some of the best I've had in town. I hope the doors aren't closed for good.
