Memphis BBQ - Lauraville, Harford Rd.

OK, who's been there? What's the word? Though I live less than a mile away I haven't been there yet because of their whimsical hours. (Okay, I'm lazy.) Mainly interested in pulled, east Carolina pork. Does it come with slaw?

BTW, had buffalo wings down the street at Koco's on Friday - nothing to write home about but, dag, they were juicy and hit the spot, especially with the margarita on the rocks con sal.

Also, have any of you Lauravillites heard about the property across from Safeway? Someone told me a brick oven pizzeria might open there - something we could use!

I live in the neighborhood and think it's an okay alternative when I don't want to cook. I like the pulled pork. I think the slaw is offered as a side and is pretty good. I don't know that I'd make a special trip here though I have not worked my way through the menue.

BTW, try the muffins at the Red Canoe. They are the best I've had.
