Raspberry Bar recipe w/o oats or nuts?
If you like meringue, baloney, you could do a Vienna bar type--short crust on the bottom, jam, meringue on top.
I have a recipe for that, along with a variation that has combines coconut in the topping.

YES...look up a lemon bar recipe. Many have short crust bases...I'm not sure that a shortbread cookie recipe would work. I think the proportions are not quite the same. I may be wrong. Wait, I just did a very quick search and found this. For a 9x9 pan, 2 cups flour, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 cups butter.
