Where can I buy smoked haddock in Manhattan?

Was hoping to purchase some smoked haddock for a "carpaccio" dish (basically thin slices of the fish topped with lemon juice and fennel seeds), and have had suprising difficulty locating some. Would appreciate any suggestions.

You know, I don't believe I've ever seen fresh or smoked haddock in New York. A very good question.

A fish vendor told me that most of it never makes it out of New England. There's not enough supply to go around. It is, however, on the menu at The Spotted Pig, in a chowder. Perhaps, I'll call to find out where they get it.
