Amber India, Santana Row - what was this?

I had the lunch buffet today at Amber India in Santana Row, and there was a spongy bread-like item at the front of the line. I only remember that it was made with gram (besan) flour. It seemed steamed, and was unusual (at least to me). It was not unlike idli in texture, but was yellow (tumeric?).

Does anyone know the name of the dish and does anyone have a recipe?

TIA

Sounds like Dhokla. See for example http://lululoveslondon.blogspot.com/2... for picture and recipe. Lots of other recipes online as well.
