Dinner near Tarrytown Music Hall

momof3 Dec 13, 2007 01:41 PM

We are a small group going to see a show here soon and are looking for recs for dinner.
I have been to Chiboust and was underwhelmed ( I posted my review in March of this year). One looks great, but I really can't pay $36 for bronzini. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
TIA,

I've heard raves about Jack & Dyl's right down Main St. My parents went and loved their short ribs.

I've been to Jack & Dyl's..........very quaint........good food........good wine........good desserts........if you're in the mood for thai.........i'd check out thai garden, which is right down the road in sleepy hollow.......excellent food, cozy atmosphere, great service......

And people here have been saying good things about Santorini, if you're interested in Greek food. http://www.chowhound.com/topics/443596

Lago di Como is very close to the Tarrytown Music Hall. http://www.lagodicomorestaurant.com/

Went to Lago de Como recently and was underwhelmed. Food was all strangely over-salted. Just average.

Also underwhelmed with the attitude and snobbiness at Chiboust. Went there once and the food was ok but the waitress rolled her eyes when we wanted tap water. In cases like that, I always feel like asking the server if THEY drink sparkling while they work and at home!
