Dallas wedding venues that allow us to bring alcohol??
Does anyone know of venues where we can bring in our own alcohol? I am trying to decide if a Vietnamese style restaurant reception or a Western reception is more conducive in allowing alcohol. Chinese/Viet restaurants usually allow us to bring our own alcohol.
As far as Chinese/Viet restaurants does anyone have any ideas?
Maxims - food isn't good
Caravelle - food is ok, but SO cheesy
Kirin Court - i think they have 1 bathroom
Thanh Thanh - how is the wedding food? kinda far too.
Arc - En- Ciel - been there done that
Anything else?? Dallas is so limited with asian food.
Thanks!!!

I don't know if Zander's House will allow you bring your alcohol, you may want to call and ask. I think it would be a beautiful place to have a Vietnamese wedding reception and the food is excellent. The Guidelive review mentioned they have had large receptions there before.

Kien Giang is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. I believe they specialize in wedding celebrations. The decor is not quite as fancy as Thanh Thanh, but it's very nice. The food is much better here than Thanh Thanh.

Pika,
I asked my business parter who's Vietnamese and has attended many of those types of weddings. He said that Caravelle and Arc En Ciel are probably the best, but they are all about the same. Ar En ciel is more expensive and considered a little nice. Not much help, but that's the Vietnamese crowd's take.
