Lunch reservations at Commander's Palace?

I do I need reservations for lunch at Commander's Palace? I was going to make a res. today but it looks like they're booked to the 23rd of December. Should I scratch this from my itinerary, or can I walk in? Also- what's good for lunch there? Thanks!

    Maybe you could try a late lunch,, but have a back up plan for somewhere fairly close, like Clancy's.

      In order to make reservations, you may call 1-504-899-8221, 7 days a week, between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm central standard time to reserve a table.
