how much was it? Is it only on Mondays?
I live about 1.5 hours from riverside in traffic (I.e. the beach), and I doubt I would go just to eat a menu that I could get at the ritz in pasadena, or elsewhere.

re: russkar
Wow! Thank you for this. It never occurred to me to request a tasting menu. I return to Riverside to visit old family friends about two or three times a year and am always hard-pressed to find good restaurants there. My only complaint about Mario’s is that civilized dinner conversation can be quite difficult because of the din.
