Cheese of the Month!!!

miss bee Dec 12, 2007 10:41 AM

I went to sign up for Murray's Cheese shop's Cheese of the Month club, but shipping was almost as much as the cheese! So i began researching others. The Artisanal Cheese Center also offers a Cheese of the Month with lower shipping and there are others: The Gourmet Cheese of the Month Club, i gourmet Cheese of the Month, etc. Does anyone have one to recommend for someone who wants Murray's quality but not the cost?

You might check into Ideal Cheese - I was v. happy w/ them when I used to order cheese over the phone, and now shop there in NYC.

I used to work for a wine store and we received quite a few items from Artisanal. They arrived well packed and were always of good quality. I would definitely recommend them. Also, if you sign up for their mailing list you'll receive a coupon via email within twenty-four hours. Wait and then place your order. Enjoy!

I just recently got an email from Artisanal with an offer for a free month added to a three month cheese club. A rather large savings!

        Hi everyone,
Bumping this thread because I'm in the market for a Cheese of the Month club as a gift for friends.

Has anyone checked out the clubs for Bedford Cheese or Stinky Bklyn?

I've read positive reviews about Artisanal, Murray's, Ideal, Zingerman's and iGourmet. Are there others out there?

Which do you guys think has the best selection/quality for the price?
