Brunch in Pittsburgh

I have a couple of friends coming in from out of town the weekend before Christmas. They are big fans of brunch (most importantly good bloody's), and are staying at the Renaissance. I usually am traveling most weekends so don't do much brunch around town. Anyone have any suggestions? We definitely are not looking for the "food trough" type brunch that seems to be so often raved about in Pittsburgh, so please do not recommend the Grand Concourse. Thanks for the help.

I haven't tried this yet but have read good reviews and it looks wonderful:

Agree that Sunny Ledge is not a cattle call.

Also consider Lidia's. The anti-pasta and desserts are out on tables and you order your main from the menu and it is served. It's an interesting combination.

I'm a big fan of Coca Cafe on Butler St. in Lawrenceville.
