  1. Although the donuts are no longer baked on site Penn Station Krispy Kreme now gets its donuts from a Krispy Kreme in Connecticut. The Krispy Kreme located at 1440 Boston Post Road in Milford, CT, is under the certification of Rabbi Yitzchok Adler and the Hartford Kashrut Commission. After speaking with Rabbi Adler, it is now confirmed that the Krispy Kreme located in Penn Station is Kosher.

Wow, that's a long trip for day fresh doughnuts...

Do they have a kosher certificate or other documentation showing that they come from Hartford? How do we know that they won't just pick them up elsewhere?

Is this information written on the box? They must carry some sort of tracking info if they do not do baking on premise.

I have been in contact with the vaad as well and they do not certify the location and thus CANNOT recommend the products. You cant recommend something in a location where there is no supervision,

            That's quite a broad statement.

Interesting, I bought coffee there this morning and there's a teudah/certificate of kashrut on the wall from Hartford.

          2. YES!! Bless you for this most relevent post!

            1. Can anyone explain to me the current kashrut status of the Krispy Creme stores throughout the city? Is the main production facility, in Queens, still under hashgocho? Is Rabbi Mehlman still involved anywhere? Why did everything change? What happened?
