The eggs benny with the smoked trout is divine, make sure you get the hollandaise all over those amazing home fries. The place fills up very very quickly so get there as close to 10AM as you can...

In my experience the food at brunch is entirely ordinary - good, but pedestrian - and the seating in the booths is incredibly cramped. I mean way tighter than an economy seat on Air Canada !

what's not good at Swan? The brunch menu isn't huge and is a mix of traditional breakfasty things (omelettes) and more lunchy (salads, some fish thing I can't remember). I usually end up having one of the specials, generally some kind of omelette. And I've always enjoyed it.

If you haven't been before, one thing to be aware of is that it is fairly small and mostly booths so it is almost impossible to accommodate groups larger than 4.

the hangtown fry is good. smoked oyster omelet. can be a tad greasy but otherwise good.
they have a basic breakkie with 2 eggs, choice of meat, potatoes and toast that's good too.
