ISO Marzipan fruits, etc. in LA area

Hi,
I love love love those crafted marzipan fruits and vegetables, but am having a hard time finding any place that sells them individually in Los Angeles. I'd love to get them as a gift and not have to order some pre-assorted plastic package off of Amazon or something.

Does anyone know of any place to get them around here? (Online is totally fine too, as long as it's not that standard 12 piece fruit box or from the UK cos I can't afford the shipping) :)

Gelson's has them as well ... all the time.

I never try them as I am never convinced they are as fresh as I require.

La Galette in Sherman Oaks sometimes has them.

Cost Plus sells a limited selection, as well as marzipan pigs, etc. Good prices, too.

The Cost Plus prices are roughly half what you'd pay in a bakery, etc.

The Farmers Market at 3rd & Fairfax in Los Angeles has them, as does the bakery department at Canter's, also on Fairfax

I'm pretty sure that I've seen these in the display cases at Sarki's bakery in Pasadena / Altadena. Hopefully someone else can chime in to confirm or deny. I'll try to swing by in the next couple of days, to check.

Yes, Sarki's does indeed have a good selection of marzipan fruit. It's on Washington Blvd. just east of Allen in Pasadena; there's also one in Glendale.
