LOS ANGELES MAGAZINE

Calling all Chowhounds...The current issue of LA Mag is devoted to restaurants and has not one but two great articles by Jonathan Gold.
Great work J.G. When is your book coming out?
Many thanks, sir--you are far too kind. If
anyone has the inclination, my restaurant
columns for Los Angeles Magazine (the fancy-
schmancy places) can usually be found at
The restaurant columns for the L.A. Weekly
(more chowhoundy kind of stuff) are at
www.laweekly.com, but you sort of have to
hunt around for them. The Weekly columns are
called CounterIntelligence--the one to
read if you want to find out about a Los
Angeles place that sells Sri Lankan
stringhoppers--and Roundabout, which is
where you can read about a whole LOT of
places that sell Sri Lankan stringhoppers.
Unfortunately the columns are not archived.

I really enjoy reading your comments.
In terms of past issues, I was able to pull up 30 of
your articles by searching on the top right of the LA
Weekly page for Counter Intelligence choosing the
option of "all articles". When I searched on
"Jonathan Gold", I got 57 hits...back to the beginning
