  1. Hi Tobelo,

I live in the Northeast, but used to work in Ft. Wayne. I once stumbled onto a tiny grocery store called "Little Burma" (I am sure you can find it in the yellow pages) - and bought out their entire supply of lephet and pone-yay-gyi. They also have hand-made kun!
Hope you can find the place and if you do ..say hi to them for me. I need more pone-yay-gyi!

My parents live near Ft Wayne and my inlaws are about an hour and a half from there. My inlaws grew up in Burma and moved to the US in the early 70's. The enjoy the "little burma" store too.

    2. There's a place called True Friend Teahouse on Calhoun. I plan to check it out soon. Hope that helps!

      1. Hi,
Are there any new Burmese restaurants in Fort Wayne?

I saw on a reddit thread that there are two. One is called Akaungzarr, the other is Mahnin. They're both on yelp.
