Which would you prefer to try?

I'm heading to a dinner party tonight and will be joined by my favorite wine drinkers/colleauges. Everyone is bringing a bottle so of course I can only bring one bottle, but which one? Here are the choices:

1999 Hirtzberger Honivogl Gruner Veltliner, Smaragd
1997 Zind Humbrecht Clos St. Urbain, Rangan de Thann, GC Gerwerztraminer (ready or not?)
1991 Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia (Rioja, the only red option)
1991 Nikolaihof Vinothek Gruner Veltliner

The idea is not to stress about pairing with food, rather the opportunity to open something interesting for the group. Which shall I bring?

    Hi Apertif...

Hands down, walking away I'd want to try the Hirtzberger GV... it's from the fabulous 1999 vintage and well ready to drink.

1991 was a dreadful year in Rioja, whatever you do don't bring that. Also, both 91 in Austria and 97 in Alsace were mediocre vintages...

The choice is easy, enjoy :)

      Agreed. The Hirtzberger.

        I'd prefer the Zind-Humbrecht

It would have to be the Hirtzberger for me specifically because i've heard good things about the vintage.
