We are going to a show Friday at Carnegie Hall and want to grab dinner before. Are there any good seafood places near it?

Redeye Grille which is practically across the street.

Molyvos is right around the corner from Carnegie Hall. We haven't been to there in ages, and I don't recall having fish or seafood there. But Greek restaurants do have a way with both, especially whole, grilled fish, so you might want to give it a try. (Note: Acc. to their website, they offer a pre-theater prix-fixe for $36, and grilled fish is one of the main course selections.)

Shelly's is nearby (same company that runs Redeye Grill) - they also have a raw bar and I think they still have live jazz downstairs. Not sure if one is better than the other.

Depending on what you consider nearby-we often go to Aquavit Cafe before Carnegie concerts.
