Green chili in Silver Spring/DC??

Hi all,

Is it possible to purchase green chili in the SS/DC area at grocery stores? We just returned from NM, and we're missing the heat!

Do you mean the peppers to cook with? Sometimes the Whole Foods in Silver Spring has all kinds of green chiles like poblanos and so on. And sometimes they don't. Otherwise have you tried the Latino grocery stores, like in Langley Park?

santa fe cafe in NoVa i think is the closest you're going to get.

also, there is a cousin of little anitas (awesome ABQ breakfast burrito place) definitely not as good as the real thing but not bad. they cater all of the NM state delegation functions on the hill.
