English and/or Euro butters spreadable right out of the fridge?

I'm exploring European butters. The latest is a roll of Double Devon Cream Butter. When I opened it to put some on my butter dish for softening up, I noticed it was spreadable right off the bat, easing my dithering over the butter-at-room-temperature and butter-bell vs butter boat issues. Anyone experience same with the Devon Double?
