Where to buy in OC

I am working on a dish for an upcoming holiday party that I have not made before, and there are a few specific items that I am not sure are available at a regular grocery store. I am looking to buy these items in one shot in an Orange County Location:
-Panko breadcrumbs
-Pumpkin puree, NOT pie mix

Any suggestions? Thanks!

  1. One shot eh? Well, first thing that comes to mind is Whole Foods at the District.

    1. I have purchased all of these things at Gelson's. I go to the one on Jeffrey and Alton.

      1. You may be fortunate enough to get all of these at Trader Joe's as well. Not sure on the pumpkin puree, but the rest is a go.

Last time I was at Trader Joe's, I was told that they don't carry panko.

they did at one time, but that is part of the problem w/TJ's, they don't always continue to carry a much liked product.

trader joe's has organic pumpkin. check near the baking section.

          3. You didn't say where in OC. North OC and South OC are two different things.

There's a Whole Foods Market, as well as a Gelson's. Just google them and it'll tell you whether it's in your neck of the woods.
If not, then prosciutto, gnocchi, panko should be available at almost any common grocery store.
If you're picky, and let's say you want really good olive oils, italian cheeses, Nano or Carnaroli for risotto, and better gnocchi, you can also try Claro's Italian Market. They have several locations in OC.
Not sure about pumpkin puree.... do you mean the canned pumpkin puree used in making pies? If so, that's at any market.
