SLOW MEDITERRANEAN KITCHEN by Paula Wolfert - so that Rubee will also play with us. supernatural cooking looks great, however, it's a fairly new book. My entire library system has 12 copies and they are all out or on hold.

SUPER NATURAL COOKING by Heidi Swanson

I had a hard time deciding between this and Washoku, but I already own SNC so I went w/ that. I will be doing a bit of traveling in Jan. but I hope to participate as much as possible if this gets chosen.

Are we also including Heidi's website recipes?

I'm totally interested in anything folks have to say about washoku, but I think the swanson book is better for this project. with the 101cookbooks.com website!

                          THE SLOW MEDITERRANEAN KITCHEN
I really want to cook w/ Paula Wolfert's books, and this seems to be one of her best. Comfort warming food for January. Kinda like All About Braising by Molly Stevens, which was a big hit as COTM.

It was a toss-up w/ Heidi Swanson. Washoku is too elaborate -- more of a coffee table book.

Washoku is not available in my library, and Super Natural Cooking just isn't that appealing to me

THE SLOW MEDITERRANEAN KITCHEN by Paula Wolfert is my vote. Someone gave it to me and I would love to have an excuse to dive in.

SUPER NATURAL COOKING is different, and I find it intriguing; it has my vote. I like SMK, but I'd like to do something different.
