I really want to cook w/ Paula Wolfert's books, and this seems to be one of her best. Comfort warming food for January. Kinda like All About Braising by Molly Stevens, which was a big hit as COTM.

It was a toss-up w/ Heidi Swanson. Washoku is too elaborate -- more of a coffee table book.
