Hi everyone,

I've got an out of town guest this week, and we're heading out to see the Nutcracker this weekend, with two kids in tow (5 and 8). Dinner's on me, so I'm looking for some recommendations, keeping in mind three things:

- Dinner will have to be relatively quickly served, the show's at 7

- I'm footing the bill, so something easy on my wallet.

- No chain restaurants, please.

Thanks again for all of your help!

Chinatown fits the bill on all counts.

Resto Hong Kong (St-Laurent), Beijing (La Gauchetiere), Mon Nan (Clark) or Maison VIP (Clark) would be my recommendations.

All of the above, plus if you walk east of St. Laurent on Ste. Catherine, there is a very good Vietnamese pho place that was one of the first to offer Hanoi cooking, Pho 2000, maybe? Just past Foufounes.
