What to have at Marseille?

We're going for the first time for a pre theatre dinner. What do you suggest? Thank you!

Thank you so much for letting me know. It is our annual trip to NY with our girls and it is something we always look forward to...especially the great meals we always have. There is no place like New York!

On the hors d'oeuvres list, the hummus and artichokes barigoule are standouts. In the main course category, they always do an excellent job with the magret (duck breast). For dessert, the beignets are yummy, and the sorbets are first-rate.

      Enjoy and Bon Appetit!

I've had the chicken bouillabaisse there a couple of times-it's quite good. I've also had the spaghettini w/shrimp which was suprisingly good as well. Not sure if the menu has changed as I haven't been there in over a year.

          Hi DaisyM,

Mr. Pobo and I went there for dinner last week on a Saturday night and enjoyed it immensley. I had the short ribs, which were fantastic. I don't remember what he had, it was good but not as good as the short ribs. The wines were expensive, we ended up talking with our waiter and getting a decent bottle at $48, but it wasn't on the menu.
