AZUL- LaJolla

Has there been a change of Chef's and kitchen staff at the Azul in the last 6 months?
The Dining Room and Bar Menu looks to have changed somewhat.

    we went for my SO's bday back in August and asked for recommendations at that time - apparently the menu is ever-changing.

      It was a slow night and the Chef was not present.
      That might have been the reason, the food seemed to be ........
