where to buy annatto/achiote seeds?

Hello, I am looking for achiote or annatto seeds in order to cook cochinita pibil. I have tried La Palma mexicatessen and a few other random small groceries in the Mission but no luck so far, only finding prepared achiote paste and I'd like to start from scratch with the seeds. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Berkeley Bowl does still have them yeah. In the Latin foods section, not the ethnic foods section...

I have seen them at Chavez supermarkets on the peninsula and at Mi Peublo in Redwood City, and at 99 Ranches and Lion Supermarkets.

I just bought some this weekend at Mi Pueblo www.mipueblofoods.com on High street in Oakland.. I actually bought the seeds and the paste-- the rojo variety-- they have a great selection of stuff there- thanks to the Chowhound community for turning me on to it!

The Berkeley Bowl certainly used to carry them -- I would guess that Rainbow Market might as well

I know for sure the foster city 99 ranch has them but if you want to try one closer to you, I would call ahead and check.
