Disney World Area Dinner Options

b

I will be staying at the Hilton Disney World Resort at 1751 Hotel Plaza Blvd in Lake Buena Vista and would like your recommendations on good casual business dinner options. Open to all cuisines and price points, but want good quality food. Non-chain options would be great, but I know that isn't the easiest thing to find in that area, so good quality chain recommendations would be welcomed as well.

I know there are a number of restaurants on the Disney property that may be worthwhile, but I would appreciate your recommendations so we don't go to the wrong ones.

I do have a car, so am willing to drive a few miles for a good dinner.

Thanks,

We live about an hour from Disney & have had several good meals at Raglan Road, It's in Downtown Disney which is just down the street from where you're staying. It's styled as a very upscale Irish pub & the food goes way beyond what you would think of as pub food.

You said "business dinner" so I must point out that there's usually a traditional Irish band playing after 9 pm, which makes conversation a little difficult.

If you want to check out what's available at the restaurants within Disney, I suggest you go to: http://allearsnet.com/

Bonefish Grill is always a good option for casual business. It is a chain, but pretty good food and not far from your hotel. There are TONS of chains in your area, unfortunately, and very few non-chains. Dr.Phillips area (where Bonefish is) has several good options, there is a great Lebonese Restaurant called Cedars. WInter Park has some good options as well, but it's a drive from where you're at....so, I guess it depends how far you want to go...Hope it helps a little bit....

We had dinner last month at Jiko, in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was outstanding. If you go, try the artichoke peppadew flatbread with cilantro yogurt drizzle. I'm still craving it. You can google it to see the complete menu. If you want more casual, they have another restaurant called Boma that is a buffet.
