TKettle?
There was recently an article in Village Voice regarding homemade dumplings in this restaurant in Queens next to a BBQ chicken place. They sound delicious, but the address is a mystery to me. Do any of you know where this place is? Thanks.

Just went there tonight, after seeing the write up in this week's Time Out. Had the house dumplings, which are pork and shrimp. 8 dumplings for $4.85, and they were delicious! Fresh, juicy, wrappers were the perfect thickness.. As mentioned, this place specializes in bubble tea (which I didn't have), so the dumplings are only a very small section of their menu, but they were excellent. They also had straight pork dumplings and veggie dumplings...
Though it occurs to me -- this thread should be moved to the Manhattan board, as this place is on St. Marks Place between 2nd and 3rd.

I think the dumpling maker is from Queens, but TKettle is on St. Mark's Place in Manhattan.

re: rick from maryland
I haven't been yet. All I've heard is that it's a bubble tea joint that also sells these dumplings. Here's a report from last month ... http://www.chowhound.com/topics/456980
