I am in Phillie this Sunday for one night. I want to go somewhere great, where should I go? Cost does not matter- good good food is what I'm looking for and any type of cuisine is fine.

Amada or Bistro7. Skip Barclay Prime.

amada is my first choice, tied with buddakan. both get busy but they serve at the bar, and if you time if before or just after the prime dinner hours you might luck out...i have.

Ansill is probably doing their Pif night this Sunday (ie. serving the French bistro food they served at their former restaurant). I don't know if the regular menu is served. Either way, you can't miss. Also, Little Fish does a $28 dinner on Sundays (I believe 3 courses). Both restaurants are very good.

I haven't been to Pif night at Ansill yet, but I've heard from those who have that you are free to order from Ansill's menu.

How many people in your party? It's too late to be making reservations at most of the city's best spots, but if you're by yourself you can probably just walk in and sit down at the bar at Osteria or Tinto or Ansill.
