White Lily Flour

I would like to pick up some White Lily Flour but have not found a source as of yet in the Chicagoland area. Any ideas? Thanks!

Do any stores in Chicago carry it?

If you have Whole Foods in Chicago try there,if not go to they will ship and yes of course it will cost you more, but in my oppion it's worth every penny, thats what I did last year and if you like corn bread??? they have the best corn meal,I looked for a long time before I tried it,I hate gritty corn bread and their's is perfect also the grits are great.
Also sometimes you might be able to get it at a Wal-Mart it seems to me they only carry it at a certain time of the year I could be wrong but it seems to me to be around harvest time.Goodluck.

    2. Fox and Obel carries White Lily. Costs more than normal, but when you factor in the shipping costs to buy mail order, it works out to be about the same.

Thanks for the suggestions. When I called I was told they didn't have it, then another person stated that they only had the bleached self rising version. I was uncertain if the latter would be appropriate for biscuits.

      2. Fresh Market carries White Lilly. I live in the NW suburbs, but I think there are Fresh Markets in Chicago.

        1. I buy mine at the Meijer store in Highland Indiana. It's on Indianpolis Blvd. Also the Food4less sells it in Hammond Indiana. On 165th street. By Woodmar shopping center.

Thanks for the additional resources. I'd virtually given up the notion of acquiring it locally and figured I'd have to order some instead.
