Phoenix/Scottsdale: New Years Brunch

i'm not a big one for being out and about NYE- prices are ridiculous, reservations hard to get, and the roads are insane... but i was thinking this year about getting my munch on new years day. since its a tuesday, is anyplace doing brunch that you can recommend?

was pleasantly surprised to get this email which totally fits my mood for NYD.

Padre's announces its first January 1st Hangover Brunch. Enjoy brunch on the patio including bottomless bloody marias * $6 morning after mojitos * $6 mimosas * $5 kahlua’d cafe * $5 coffee baileys

they listed a bunch of the dishes, too, which seem yummy. (lots of starch, omelette bar, grill station, etc)

Asia de Cuba, ZuZu, elements, Firesky and T.Cooks should all be open New Year's Day.

Maybe Cafe Zuzu at the Valley Ho? I know they have stuff going on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day both...

Where do you live, and how far are you willing to drive?

I don't have any specific suggestions in mind, I'm just trying to get the thinking juices flowing.
