Electric slicer for speck or prosciutto

Does anyone have any recommendations for an electric slicer for prosciutto or speck? I want to be sure to find a machine that can handle very firm meats but I don't want to spend a whole bunch of money. Under 300 would be good, under 200 would be better. Is that possible?

I would like to be able to slice even, thin pieces that look good. And this is just for at home use.

  1. I've been doing some research as I'm also looking for a good quality home slicer. I've picked out the Graef slicer as being quite popular in Europe. Anyone have any experience of them? My budget doesn't really stretch to the ultra deluxe Berkel machines!
