Hey folks,

I am from San Deigo, big fan of downtown sophisticate eats and martinis. This time is special cos my gf is coming with me. I was looking for any nice eats and places to hangout both in Indy and . We love ethinic food too, any recommendations in this area would great too.

Last time @ cinci, I was at Belugas and loved it. similar recommendations would be great.

thanks.

Hello,

I'm not familiar with the Cincy dining scene, but I can give you some recs of places in Indy and the area. R Bistro or Elements downtown. Bongie's Tavern in Perkinsville or Tallent in Bloomington. Good luck.

R Bistro and Elements both have great atmospheres but only 2-way liquor licenses (so no martinis)...just wanted to mention it so that theseventhdawn won't be disappointed.

Via Vite Just opened on fountain square. simple italian, owners are father and son Nicola and Christian Pietoso: http://www.viaviterestaurant.com/ Live music, fun contepmorary atmosphere. I loved it when I went, have heard mixed reviews from others. Jean-Robert de Cavel has two restaurants and a very new sexy bar downtown: Pigall's JeanRo and Twist: www.jeanrobertgroup.com Last, Nada just opened this week, Mexican from the chef who owns Boca in Oakley. I haven't been but it has good buzz already. http://www.eatdrinknada.com/main.html
