  1. So, the pre-made sushi at Lunds isn't good enough for you, eh? You're such a snob. :-)

How about Origami West in Ridgedale? If not, check out the exhaustive list of sushi restaurants in this thread:

i think Lund's is better than Sushi of Toyko

I second that! SoT is like Japanese kibble.

Origami tends to be better again and has more selection, but of course the price is noticeably higher.

I don't think anyone has ever represented Sushi of Tokyo as anything more than fresh made supermarket sushi. But, it is cheap.

That said, their soups are much better than their sushi. I wouldn't travel across town for them, but on a cold winter night, they hit the spot.

Yes, and I didn't say anyone had. What I meant was that they are so far below the quality of even Lund's sushi that they aren't worth considering. IMO, of course. Others certainly may find them edible. I think there are different flavors of chowhoundness (pun intended).

I tend not to eat soups in most restaurants as they are invariably over-salted.

    2. Little Sushi on the Prairie is just a short jaunt from Minnetonka.. not sure if that is close enough for you, but my sushi-loving friends give high marks to them.

It's sort of confusing to get to. It's by the Punch pizza off of Prairie Center a block west of Flying Cloud.
