Free Range Goose in Toronto

Yet another question for the reliable foodies in Chowhound.

Looking for a christmas goose, where in Toronto has the best hormone free, and free run geese?

I have heard about a Menonite butcher on Logan Ave? But looking for thoughts from the chow hounders.

Thanks as always.

How about Cumbrae, on Church St., south of Wellesley?

I think the Mennonite butcher you might be thinking of is Fresh From the Farm on Donlands, not a butcher per se but are supplied by Mennonite farmers -

Your best bet might be to try Eastern European butchers/delis, like The Prague on Queen W. Healthy Butcher down the street might be another option. Good luck!

You might want to call White House Meats
St. Lawrence Market, Upper Level 16
            93 Front St. E. at 416-366-4465

I googled them but I never tried them myself.
